The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction has developed an Honors Level Course Rubric and Implementation Guide to more effectively address new standards and instructional best practices. The State Board of Education approved these documents these documents in June, 2012. These documents, and the related website, are below. They should provide guidance to teachers and school systems in addressing the following:
